Doctors and nurses were nice

I recently had a Cardioversion performed at Shasta Regional Medical Center. I had an excellent experience in all areas of my visit beginning with setting up the appointment, checkin, prepping for the procedure, and the procedure itself. All of the employees that worked with were friendly, informative, and professional. I can highly recommend Shasta Regional.

The people there did the best job possible help me a lot and they were great people to talk with recommend it to everybody!

Absolutely great experience at Shasta Regional Medical Center. Not only was my brother very happy with the medical treatment he received, but his roommate was also incredibly well cared for. Every medical professional who came through those doors treated both of them with kindness, respect, and patience while answering any questions they had. Even though the nurses’ station was extremely busy, they still took the time to answer my questions professionally while keeping that important human element and compassion. You can tell there are a lot of hardworking people there who truly care about their patients. Five stars from our family for sure. I went in for an Angiogram, which resulted in a CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) a day after they discovered four major blockages of 90-99%. The cardiologist surgeon is topnotch with decades of experience. He and his physician assistance performed a very success triple bypass instead of four, since the fourth one was too small to stitch it together with another one. It will eventually die off anyway. I am so very grateful they discovered these blockages and were able to buy me more time on this planet. The nurses and people who work in ICU/PCU were very good in their duties and cared for my wellbeing around the clock. Shasta Regional Medical Center is one of the few hospitals to accept and train new nurses to become competent in their fields and also train them as human caregivers. The administration support was quick to respond during my stay there, if I needed to find out what my insurance will cover. The CFO (Chief Financial Officer) took the time to visit me in PCU, while I recovered, which was a pleasant surprise as I would have never thought anyone that high up in management would care about me. My overall experience was extremely satisfactory. All I can say at the end of this review is that the nurses who are trained at this medical center will be highly sought after for their skills and human kindness.

Felicia the attending nurse was fantastic, made sure I had everything I needed. She went above and beyond to help me, even as far as helping me get dressed. In my opinion she is a most valuable player. Check in was quick and simple and we were called in before we could even sit down, there were many updates on the procedure to my sons.
