Been here multiple times for myself and my kids. It tends to be less busy than bigger hospitals. We always receive good care.

I took my 5-year-old son to La Palma Intercommunity Hospital because he was very ill, and I’m truly grateful for the care we received. Nurse Ryan and the female nurse who assisted us were both wonderful, attentive, and compassionate. Dr. Jaime Reisch made us feel comfortable and reassured throughout the entire process. As a parent, having a medical team that treats your child with kindness and makes you feel at ease during such a stressful time means so much. Even though they did not have a pediatrician on site, the entire team still did their best to provide excellent care and support. Thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and excellent care!

In the past ( last year ) I would drive to another hospital due to a few things wrong. Long waiting times , short staffed, staff impersonal. That has all changed greatly! I live near by and am so happy and comfortable with the treatment o received last week. Staff with extremely comforting and involved with listening, attentive and made me feel like my pain was a concern. The nurses were comforting and the doctor was also extremely approachable. Thanks again!! I recommend this hospital.

I was very pleased with the service I was provided. The staff and nurses were great. They were attentive and made me feel comfortable during my stay.

I now have been here 3 times ED and hospital. all my experiences have been great I felt well taking care of even when its busy. Thank you for being there when I need it.

Everyone in the hospital was very kind and helpful. They did everything possible to help me find out what was causing the problem with my heart and chest pain. The nurse was exceptionally helpful and supportive. I am grateful to God for having these beautiful people do His work!

Honestly, this is the best ER I’ve ever experienced anywhere in this neighborhood. Whenever our family runs into a medical emergency—difficulty breathing, uncontrollable stomach pain, sudden and severe headaches—this is where we go. Every time, we have been met with skilled, attentive, and genuinely caring staff. The turnaround time is quick, and they make an effort to listen, evaluate the situation carefully, and get to the bottom of what’s going on. Let me tell you about last night. I suddenly experienced severe stomach pain that eventually radiated into my back. The pain was intense, and I knew this was something that needed medical attention. I went straight to La Palma ER, and I was taken to triage right away. That’s where I met Raymond. OMG—let me tell you about Raymond! He was incredibly kind, calm, and reassuring. And I could tell that this wasn’t just an act for patients. Throughout the night, so many of the ER staff came by to say hello to him and check in on how he was doing. There was such a genuine sense of camaraderie among the staff. They seemed to truly care about one another and enjoy working together. As a patient, seeing that made me feel safe. It told me that I was in a place where people genuinely looked out for each other—and that kind of environment matters, especially when you’re scared, in pain, and vulnerable. Raymond made sure I was taken care of, and I am incredibly grateful for his kindness and attentiveness. Then there was Ane. Ane was one of the sweetest nurses I have ever encountered in an ER. She was incredibly busy, and there was a patient right next to me who needed a great deal of attention. I could see that she was being pulled in many directions, yet she still treated me with genuine kindness, patience, and compassion. She made me feel seen and cared for even when she had so much on her plate. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated both Raymond and Ane last night. I was honestly relieved that I had come to this ER and not somewhere else. To Raymond, Ane, and all the nurses and staff at La Palma ER: THANK YOU. You make an incredibly difficult experience a little less frightening. You show up for people when they are at some of their most vulnerable moments, and that deserves to be recognized. So, kudos to the amazing nurses and staff who keep this place running and make patients feel cared for. AND!!! The nicest gentleman who took me to take the CT. I didn't get his name but he was a sweetheart as well, he made sure I got a warm blanket! :) Thank you! And seriously… this place deserves 1,000 positive stars—not 2.4! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you for taking care of my family and me when we needed it most. ❤️

From the minute, I was admitted to ER I was taken very good care of and attempted to needs. Once admitted, I was very pleased with the CNA‘s and the nurses that I had they were very attentive. And they were very quick, making sure that they did all the test in a timely matter that they could review it. And last, but not least kudos to the kitchen staff very delicious meals.
