Assistant Trauma Medical Director, Mission Hospital Trauma Center. Dr. Takeuchi graduated from medical school in 2001, from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He completed his residency in general surgery at New York Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, and his fellowship in Surgical Critical Care/Trauma at John Stroger Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Takeuchi is board certified in Surgical Critical Care and General Surgery. He is fluent in English, Farsi, and adequate in conversational Japanese. He is married with two young children.
