Dr. Matthew T. Brady, MD is a board certified, fellowship trained Colon and Rectal Surgeon. Dr. Brady is a diplomate of both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is an active member of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He has published multiple book chapters and academic manuscripts in the field of colon and rectal surgery.

He serves as both the Medical Director for Colon and Rectal Surgery as well as the Director of the NARPC accredited Rectal Cancer Program at Providence Mission Hospital. Accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) is granted only to those programs that are committed to providing the best possible care to patients with rectal cancer.

He has a specific interest in colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, rectal prolapse, pelvic floor disorders, and benign anorectal disorders. He specializes in both laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He is passionate about providing the most advanced care possible to his patients.

Dr. Brady received his medical degree from Tufts University in Boston, MA. He went on to perform his general surgery residency training at Boston University in Boston, MA. There he was awarded both the Junior resident and Chief resident teaching awards. During his final year of residency, he served as the Administrative Chief Resident. Following his residency training he pursued a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.

He enjoys spending time outside the hospital with his family.
