About
Dr. Stacy grew up in Michigan for most of his life, before moving to California for high school. He eventually moved back to Michigan and attended the University of Michigan to play baseball and study bio-chemistry. He began working for Genesee County coroner's office as a forensic autopsy technician, which sparked his interest in healthcare. Dr. Stacy was elected to the US Ambassador Olympic Baseball team to travel to Australia and the Soviet Union, during the summers of his freshman and sophomore years. After college, he worked for a division of the CDC, investigating the viral structure of HIV. At that point, Dr. Stacy realized his talents and interest would be better served in direct patient care. He became an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2004 and later obtained his doctorate in 2014. Currently, Dr. Stacy practices at Sherman Oaks Hospital and Encino Hospital Medical Center. Additionally, during the UCLA academic year he trains UCLA ANCP Hospital Residents at Sherman Oaks Hospital.
