Belinda Gonzalez, APRN FNP-C, is a Board Certified, Family Nurse Practitioner with Ortho care Clinic. She is a Native of the Rio Grande Valley. She was born and raised here in Harlingen, TX. She is married to a loving husband and has two beautiful daughters.

Belinda has nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare. She started her career in 1991, after completing her Certification in Surgical Technology from Texas State Technical College. For 10 years she continued her journey as a Surgical Technologist earning a vast amount of experience assisting in multiple specialties to include Orthopedic Surgery, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, General Surgery, and Trauma. In 2000, she graduated from the University of Texas in Brownsville with her Associate Degree in Nursing. As an RN, Belinda continued her career in the Operating Room for the course of 15 years gaining profound amount of experience with patients that required critical care and high skilled nursing care. In 2012 she obtained her BSN from Chamberlain College of Nursing, graduating Sigma Theta Tau. Because of her continued love for patient care and desire for autonomy she pursued her Advanced Practice Degree as a nurse graduating in 2015 with her Master Degree Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner, again graduating with honor Sigma Theta Tau. She then rounded her education with a Certification as a Registered Nurse First Surgical Assistant in 2017 from Houston Community College.

She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner’s and Texas Nurse Practitioner’s.

Hobbies include spending time with her family fishing, surfing, and traveling.
