Dr. Elsie "Ellie" Robertson, MD is a board certified General Surgeon. She specializes in general, robotic, and breast surgery.

Dr. Robertson received her Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree in 2013 from Tulane University. She was awarded a merit scholarship to attend Tulane University School of Medicine and graduated with AOA honors. She came to California for her General Surgery residency training at UC Irvine Medical Center.

Dr. Robertson holds privileges at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center Laguna Hills and the Surgical Center of Saddleback. Her areas of expertise include Laparoscopic, Robotic and Open approaches to abdominal diseases such as hernias, gallbladder, colon, small bowel, and anorectal diseases. She also routinely treats breast disease, hernias, hemorrhoids, and skin/soft tissue disease.

Dr. Robertson is very excited to be the newest member to join the South Orange County Surgical Medical Group. She enjoys getting outdoors, especially exploring National parks and hiking with her husband, skiing, cycling and tennis.
